Earlier this year I launched my “Force of the King’s Army” LeBron 9 Foamposite which took cues from the Camo AF1 Low VT. This shoe was launched on mockup leaving some mystery as to how the shoes would actually look once completed. This is yet another instance where my mockup vs. actual product comparison page comes in handy. The above image reveals a few pairs that were recently created. They all feature some sort of sole dye treatment (orange, green, and glow in the dark), VT-Like camo fabric application, and paint. All 3 pictured turned out amazing. Let me know which is your favorite or use the listing after the jump to purchase a pair while the LeBron 9 Foamposite base shoe remains available on NikeID. (price includes the cost of the base shoe).
What you see above is the latest launch of a custom LeBron 9 Foamposites wrapped in my “VT-like” method with camouflage canvas. The soles are dyed and on some versions the entire hyperfuse upper is painted. Both traditional BDU Camo and modern Digital Camo are offered to appeal to both the old and new school camo aficionados. The electric green accents are a nice accent to the tonal green color story on the shoe. Black balances the design and keep them militant. These shoe go great with camo shorts or any khaki cargo shorts you might have in rotation. The custom shoe will take 5 to 8 weeks to arrive as the base shoe is ordered from NikeID as clients pre-pay for their pair. A custom box option might appear soon in the product listing, and surely a matching t-shirt is on the horizon. Stay tuned and purchase your pair now for shipment in time for the end of Spring. See larger pictures after the jump and purchase your pair as well. Continue reading
