This custom Nike Air Force One Low End Theory piece was done back in 2009 during a 1 on 1 design session. The idea came about from the then current release of the AJ1 ATCQ‘s. The result is the custom Nike AF1 you see here. A great combination of the Low End Theory Album cover art and great technical work by yours truly, Chef of GourmetKickz. I used a “seamless frontal” fabric application to properly lay out as much of the Low End Theory design as possible. This custom sneaker also features an amazing vibrant yellow on the swooshes. This yellow is very stand out and is a trademark color of mine, having been custom mixed. If you are a sneaker artist by the way, you can actually purchase this pre-mixed color from my other website. Enjoy these custom kicks as they are definitely one of my favorites. Also make note of the custom tongue tag after the jump and don’t be afraid to cop a pair for yourself.
The Nike 1 World project linked several Influencers in the sports and fashion cultures with the Nike Air Force 1 Brand. This particular Nike Air Force One Low Supreme Inside-Out is also part of the 1 World series and is the product of Nike x Diasuke Matsuzaka AKA “The Monster” AKA “Dice K”. When given the chance to design an AF1 Matsuzaka hit this one out of the park! He used materials presented to him by Nike that were not normally used on an Air Force. He wanted to create something out of the ordinary with uncommon materials. To accomplish this task he selected white pony hair for the toebox, frontal, and sidewalls of the sneaker. In addition he selected a beaded patent leather for the swoosh and heel tab. And to finish off the sheer absurdity of the this wild sneaker, he decided on orange “dragon scaled” leather for the heel and eyestay. The decision to choose a dragon scale effect for the leather came from his Japanese heritage and that cultures devout involvement of the dragon in art, literature, architecture, mythology and folklore. The finishing touch is the laser etched dragon the heel panel of each sneaker.
From the 2008-2009 1World Project AKA Influencer Pack, this particular pair is from world renown soccer star Rio Ferdinand. Packed with loads of detail; gold contrast stitching to tucked seamless smooth leather, croc print accents, a metallic gold swoosh, and some laser etched aspects. These sneakers stand out from all the other 1Worlds making them very special in their own way. What makes them stand out perhaps from any other AF1 ever released is their unique milky white translucent soles, earning them a nickname I gave them personally…”The Milkmans”. Ha ha!

Unbeknown to many is the existence of the Yi JianLian AF1 1Worlds. There were actually 2 pair of “Scorpion AF1″ that were designed by the 7 foot Nets star. What you see here is the second pair which were never featured on the Nike 1World website, and never available for retail. I however, was able to score just a few pair from the 1 and only source who touched these stateside.
The most unique feature of these AF1’s is that they feature elements from both the HTM series and the Lux series of Air Forces. The Scorpion II’s pull the leather croc print from the HTM’s and use the woven element of the Lux series with a bit of a twist; the woven portion is suede instead of leather!
Recently Nike jumped into the popular sport of snowboarding by introducing the Zoom Force 1 snowboot. In tandem with this release, Nike also produced a limited run of Nike Air Force One High ZF sneakers. This series is designed to mimic the full Zoom Force 1 edition. The pair pictured are the Nike Air Force One ZF Safari. They are from my personal collection and are a size 10. They can be purchased after the jump as well as on the AF1 King Online Store.
