The added options are cooked up by yours truly. This is a truly unique twist to the LBJ9 and a great option for those who will not be able to grab Galaxy Foamposite Ones. There are a few options to help you make this already limited custom shoe a true 1 of a kind. Less than 24 pair will be made. So hurry and pre-order yours now before the wormhole that gave birth to these galactic masterpieces closes and leaves your forever in stardust.

There are also plenty of glow in the dark options to make these space age masterpieces stand out even further from the mere earthlings who decided to cop a shoe that hundreds of people will have.

Custom Freegums Inside-Out LeBron 9 by GourmetKickz

The Freegums LeBron 9 is a great shoe, and exterior of the shoe is a bit of a sleeper. The fabulous artwork that adorns the interior of the shoe can be detected on the exterior by the discerning eye, as it is embossed onto the shoe. However, the casual onlooker who may not know their LeBron 9 taxonomy could possibly confuse these for the much less limited “Scarface” LeBron 9. In an effort to try something a little different and differentiate this shoe from its scarred cousin a bit more, Chef decided to bring the inside out. Printed fabric is affixed to the weaved panels of the shoe, with some red accents added as well as some stippling to the midsoles. This shoe untouched is a nice looking shoe, but after Chef’s spices are added, it just POPS!

The current image used is a mockup. It will be replaced soon with an image of a completed piece. The completed piece will not differ much from the image shown. Please order with confidence as GourmetKickz often books custom orders from an initial mockup with no disappointment.

You previously saw the pair I designed for Darrelle Revis’ Manager John Geiger, well here is the pair that was made for The Island himself. The details of this pair include deep forest green nubuck suede fabric, custom heel panel with #24 and “Revis Island” graphic, splattered effect on lining / heel / eyestay, restitched swooshes with painted contrast edges, dyed tongue piping, and a custom tongue tag. The tag mates #24 with the GourmetKickz logo and once again reads “Food for the Island”. Darelle Revis will surely remain well fed on these GourmetKickz. See more images after the jump.

I was recently commissioned to do something very special for John Geiger and Darrelle “The Island” Revis. The above pair were designed for John Geiger. The details include a Jets fabric application, deep forest green nubuck suede, a stippling effect to both the midsole and laces, restitched swooshes with painted contrast edges, JETS heel tab, and custom tongue tag. The tag has a modified GourmetKickz logo, mating the Jets and GK symbols, with a slogan that reads “Food for the Island” as opposed to the traditional “Food for the Sole” GourmetKickz slogan.
