Back in mid February I decided to launch a product on this site with just a mockup image, something I often do. However, never before has a mocked up design been so well received than this Custom LeBron 9 Galaxy Foamposite which I dubbed the “King of the Galaxy”. This image set is from the first 8 that were shipped in the run of 24 pair that sold out. Due to the high density of orders placed in such a short period of time, the series had to be constructed 8 pair at a time to ensure quality and refined finished product. A new logo was also designed in honor of this launch. The logo is a combination of the LBJ logo, my own GourmetKickz iconic logo, and the NASA logo. The galaxy print used is from NASA’s image archives. It is much more detailed than any “galaxy” print any airbrush artist or ink process can emulate and in fact, what everyone refers to as a galaxy is actually a nebula. Enjoy the images below and if you are one of the fortunate clients who purchased, take my word, your pair will be arriving soon. Continue reading
As a sort of finale to my run on 112 inspired customs I could not help be work up a Custom 112 Inspired Foamposite One and Pro. Above is the Foamposite One which will be fabric wrapped in VT-like fashion with elephant printed canvas. The soles are dyed in a bright neon yellow green similar to the 112 shoes. And the accents are treated with 3M reflective to completely embody all constants from the 112 sneakers put out by DJ Clark Kent. Check out more images after the jump and cop a pair in advance or wait until actual images are available, but by that time I will more than likely be on to my next series of customs and have had my full of 112 dishes. For a better idea of how well I create from mockups, head on over to my comparison page and see some recent mockup images vs. their corresponding actual product images. Bon A Petit! and oh…. GO BROOKLYN! Continue reading
Following up my Custom LeBron 9 Foamposite themed after Clark Kent’s 112 kicks, I decided to cook up another dish, using the Zoom Rookie as a base. The result, well I am sure many will agree…. A Masterpiece! Dyed sole, painted accents, VT-like Fabric Wrapped upper with elephant print canvas, and a 3M reflective eyestay! An alternate version offers 3M plastic accents and tongue with the eyestay in black! Which one is hotter? I think even Clark would be proud to rock these, as would any Brooklynite or fan of the 112 themed kicks worldwide! Cop a pair after the jump and check out how these will look when the cameras come flashing! Allow 5 to 8 weeks for delivery of these custom kicks, they are cooked up to order!
I couldn’t resist. I had to see what the rookies would look like with some camouflage applied to them, and vuala! MAGIC! These things are gorgeous. I leave it up to my audience to bring them to life. As soon as you pay, I will begin working on some rookies to apply my VT-Like fabric wrapping method using either traditional BDU Camouflage or Modern Digital Camoflage in addition to dying the soles. These will certainly become a staple in your late spring and summer wardrobe. Purchase now and have them in time for the height of fashion this late spring and early summer. Please allow 5 to 8 weeks for delivery once your order has been placed. You may place your order and see an image of the Digital Camouflage version after the jump. Bon A Petit!
Inspired by Dj Clark Kent’s recurring 112 sneakers, this LeBron 9 Foamposite has been customized with elephant print wrapped in VT-like fashion and treated with reflective 3M to create a true Brooklyn specialty dish. This simply and clean custom will certainly break necks and likely fool people into asking “When did those come out?” Cop your pair after the jump and take a peek at how they look when hit with camera flash! Oh, and remember there is a 5 to 8 week wait for these customs since the base shoe comes from NikeID and is ordered once you pay for your pair.
What you see above is the latest launch of a custom LeBron 9 Foamposites wrapped in my “VT-like” method with camouflage canvas. The soles are dyed and on some versions the entire hyperfuse upper is painted. Both traditional BDU Camo and modern Digital Camo are offered to appeal to both the old and new school camo aficionados. The electric green accents are a nice accent to the tonal green color story on the shoe. Black balances the design and keep them militant. These shoe go great with camo shorts or any khaki cargo shorts you might have in rotation. The custom shoe will take 5 to 8 weeks to arrive as the base shoe is ordered from NikeID as clients pre-pay for their pair. A custom box option might appear soon in the product listing, and surely a matching t-shirt is on the horizon. Stay tuned and purchase your pair now for shipment in time for the end of Spring. See larger pictures after the jump and purchase your pair as well. Continue reading
